Last Minute ESA Alert – Urgent Action Required

This is it. The Big Show. Action time is now!

Schedule of Events in Washington, DC.

Action Items:

-----1. Call your friends in Washington, DC, Virginia and Maryland. Urge them to come and participate. Especially to the rally.

-----2. If you live anywhere near Washington, DC. on Tuesday, July 19th, you’ll want to be there.

-----3. There will be a rally on the West lawn of the US Capitol at 11:15 am Tuesday, July 19th. Plan to be there. This is about the Endangered Species Act. It is not supporting one position or another. If you want to see the ESA fixed so it protects landowners as well as species, be there.

Everyone who speaks will have concerns about the Endangered Species Act and its 31 year of failure. Landowners will speak about hardships. Others will speak about the failure of the ESA to actually recover species. Other points of view will be covered.

-----4. Call your Congressman at the Capitol Switchboard at (202) 225-3121. Urge him or her to attend these events and show support for fixing the Endangered Species Act.

-----5. Call your Congressman to keep the pressure on all week. You may have to call the next week as well. We don’t know when a Floor Vote could occur.
