Help your friends – Be a Team Player – Help TODAY!

URGENT ACTION REQUIRED

TODAY IS THE DAY

IT IS Thursday, August 14, 2003.

YOU STILL HAVE TIME TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

TAKE FIVE MINUTES AND SEND YOUR COMMENTS.

You must stand together.

Help unravel the Roadless Rule.

Please help even if the Clinton Roadless Rule does not apply directly to you. You’ll want others to do that for you on other issues.

The environmental groups are making and all out assault on the Forest Service Comment Period for Roadless Areas. They are trying to bury your friends and neighbors.

Part of being a team is recognizing that all issues may not apply to you but you need to help. Eventually there will be one or more issues that apply to you and you’ll need the help of others who are not directly affected. If you don’t help save them, they may not be there to help save you.

Landowners, ranchers, farmers, miners, recreation advocates, forestry advocates, cabinowners, landmen, water developers and all kinds of other users need to stand together.

Don’t let the environmental groups overwhelm rural communities. Don’t let them pick you off one group or community at a time. By standing together on the Clinton Roadless Area Rule and other issues, you can keep that from happening.

GO TO www.landrights.org RIGHT NOW.

DOWNLOAD YOUR TWO (2) COMMENT QUESTIONNAIRES AND SEND THEM IN.

*******THEY MUST BE FAXED BY MIDNIGHT TONIGHT.

*******OR THEY MUST HAVE A POST MARK OF AUGUST 14TH.

*******OR YOU CAN JUST E-MAIL A LETTER OF SUPPORT FOR THE EXEMPTION OF THE TONGASS AND CHUGACH FORESTS FROM THE ROADLESS RULE. YOU CAN SEND THE SAME LETTER TO BOTH COMMENT ADDRESSES.

REMEMBER. There are TWO COMMENT PERIODS ending TODAY, Thursday, August 14th. You may use fax, e-mail or US Post Office. The Comment Questionnaires have the complete information enclosed. You need to comment on BOTH.

There are two Roadless Rule comment periods running simultaneously. Both are important and all allies nationally should comment.

The first is for comments supporting a proposal to amend the Roadless Rule to exempt the Tongass and Chugach National Forests from the Rule until the Forest Service promulgates a Final Roadless Rule. These comments should be sent by mail, e-mail or fax to:
