HELP  STOP  THE  YOSEMITE  VALLEY  LOCKOUT

CALL  KQED 88.5 FM  TO  VOICE  YOUR  OPINION

	The public radio station, KQED 88.5 FM in San Francisco, will hold an hour-long talk show on Friday, April 25th from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.  It is vitally important that you call KQED at 415-863-2476 to oppose the Yosemite Valley Plan.

	Dan Carter of Visitors and Communities for an Open Yosemite will go head-to-head with Jay Watson of the Wilderness Society and others over whether or not to lock up Yosemite Valley.

	It is critical that you call KQED 88.5 FM, Friday, April 25th at 415-863-2476 starting at 9:00 am to get your place in line and let them know you oppose the Yosemite Valley Plan.

**The plan calls for forced busing – you will have to carry all your gear on a bus!  The Yosemite Valley Plan ultimately seeks to eliminate all cars.

**The National Park Service is closing 60% of campsites over what existed in 1980.  In the future they will close more.

**The Park Service is eliminating 75% of the parking spaces that existed in the 1980 plan.

**The Yosemite Valley Plan discriminates against the poor and middle-income families and caters to the rich.

	Help stop the Yosemite Valley lockout.  Call KQED 88.5 FM on Friday, April 25th between 9:00 am and 10:00 am at 415-863-2476.  Call your friends and ask them to call also.
