McCloskey is helping them. This is an important hearing. You should go. Call your friends, call your neighbors. Be there! When: Monday, February 27, 2006 at 8:00 a.m. Where: Port of Stockton, Rough and Ready Island, 315 Fyffe Ave, Stockton The House Resources Committee will hold an important field hearing on the decline of the California Bay-Delta fisheries on Monday, February 27, 2006 at 8 a.m. at the Port of Stockton (Rough and Ready island). 315 Fyffe Ave., Stockton, California. Resources Committee Chairman Richard Pombo has asked a number of witnesses to talk about the scientific reasons for any fisheries declines. In their zeal to eliminate farming in the Central Valley and then use the water for environmental restoration, the radical environmentalists are already blaming the farming communities for the fisheries declines DESPITE NO SCIENTIFIC PROOF. The greens will be out in force for this hearing. They have called it "THE EVENT" . They will be picketing the hearing and family farming. It is likely that Pombo opponent Pete McCloskey will attend and attempt to grandstand and get press. You need to turn out as many people as possible. Dont give the greens an open playing field. Make them compete. Bring signs. Support farm families. Give McCloskey a piece of your mind.
